"Akira!"
Akira Sakamoto looked up and waved, pausing outside the door to the student council room to wait for Toru and Yuuijirou. "Hi, did Arisada-sempai call for you guys too?"
They both nodded, Toru frowning a bit. "But not Mikoto, that's odd... We actually passed him on our way here, and he said Arisada hadn't called for him. I wonder what's up."
Yuuijirou shrugged, then smirked. "Maybe since Mikoto's making so much trouble, they're going to relieve him of his Princess duties and put Akira in his place?"
Toru and Yuuijirou both smirked, obviously imagining him in a dress, and Akira sweatdropped, cheeks turning pink. "G-guys! I'm sure that's not it!"
"Too bad, you'd look cute in ruffles," Toru grinned, ruffling Akira's hair and making him squeak. "Guess we'd better go in, though. Whatever it is, Arisada's just liable to make it worse if we're late." He and Yuuijirou sighed, but Akira just smiled and stepped forward to knock before opening the door to the student council room.
Arisada looked up from whatever he was reading, eyes sharpening as he smiled slyly at the three. "Thank you for coming, please have a seat." Akira smiled back easily, though Yuuijirou and Toru exchanged wary glances. As always, the president's motives were rather suspect.
Once the three had settled on the couch across from him, Arisada smiled and laced his fingers together, laying his chin on them. "Now, I'm sure you know that the student council elections will be taking place in a month or so. Of course, Sakamoto-sama will run."
Yuuijirou and Toru rolled their eyes at the president's assumption, but Akira blushed and nodded. "Hai..."
"Good!" Arisada smiled brightly. "Now then, I'm quite sure Sakamoto-sama needs no help in winning the elections, but I'm sure you both want to show your support for him, right?"
The two Princesses exchanged another glance. "Of course we do," Toru answered cautiously. "He's our friend."
Arisada's smile cranked up another notch, and both Princesses got an unnatural chill. "Good, because I'm arranging for the two of you to appear in a series of ads for the elections, in suitable Princess attire, of course."
Yuuijirou blinked. He'd been expecting worse. "Why just us? Why not Mikoto too?"
Arisada waved the question away. "I have other plans for him. Now then, are we clear?"
"I suppose," Toru shrugged. "I don't mind if it'll help Akira out."
"Good!" Arisada sparkled at them. "That was all I wanted, you're dismissed."
The three were left blinking as he went back to his paperwork, then stood to leave. "That wasn't so bad," Yuuijirou admitted as they headed down the hall.
"True..." Toru mused. "But knowing Arisada..."
Yuuijirou sweatdropped. "Right. I'll with hold judgement until we see the outfits."
"Right."

The basic premise of Princess Princess is that it takes place at a boys-only boarding school. In order to prepare their students for life in the outside world and give them something to idolize, every year a few 'pretty' freshmen boys are chosen as 'Princesses'. They have to crossdress during school events and generally boost morale, even though the entire student body knows that they're really guys. Yuuijirou and Toru are two of the Princesses, the third being Yutaka Mikoto. Yuuijirou and Toru take a certain (rather evil) glee in their roles as Princesses, but Mikoto hates it. There is a lot of flailing. Sakamoto Akira is the class president for Yuuijirou and Toru's class, and is being groomed to take over as student council president by the current president, Arisada Shuya.
