Ohayocon '09 Report - Day 2
So, Kat and I decided to wander back early because we're both rather beat and there's no huge panels we want to go to tonight. ^__^ Today was FUN.
I finally rolled out of bed around 9 this morning and started getting myself into my Kunzite outfit. Oddly enough, the wig wasn't the worst part, it was the stupid jacket. I really need to see if I can get that thing tailored better... Anyway, so then we headed over to con, and I participated in the Sailor Moon photoshoot.
Here and here. There seemed to be a lot of Saturn cosplayers, so they took a pose by themselves. There were only three villains, myself, a Nepherania and a Mistress 9. So for pure crack, they decided to do a shot of them fighting over me. Because they could, I guess. XD
After the photoshoot, I came back to the room to change, since I only had an hour and a half or so until the Clamp photoshoot that I needed to be in my Infinity!Fai outfit for. Now that was some of the most fun I've ever had. XD We had multiple Sakuras(here and a really amazing CCS Sakura), a couple Chiis, a couple Yuukos, a Hikaru(!), a Watanuki, a Kamui (I think, I'll have to get Crys to look at the sword he was using and tell me XD) and two Fais, me and a Fluffy!Coat. One of the other Sakuras and I hit it off, she was dressed as AcidTokyo!Kickass!Sakura, complete with pistol. =D The other Fai was really nice too, her costume rocked. I don't actually have pictures from the Clamp photoshoot, Hikaru said she'd be putting as many as possible on her DA, and a few of the official con photographers wandered by too, so as those photos show up I'll link to them.

Courtesy of American Cosplay Paradise, we have the Sakuras, group shots one and two, a couple more specific Tsubasa group shots (one and two), a misc. Clamp charas shot, big props (with the AWESOME Hikaru), and lastly, the uber-adorable Fai and Mokona. ^-^ That's all for now!
That took almost an hour, because we kept coming up with various poses. After that, Kat and I headed for the Dealer's Room... and I spent waaaaay more than I should. XD I got presents for Crys, and for myself I got the complete Princess Princess anime, a Tsubasa shoulder bag with the wing pattern embroidered in it, two necklaces (one of Fai's staff and one of the Tsubasa wings again), and a couple posters (Juvenile Orion, yay~!)
Then I wandered aaaaall the way across the convention center and managed to catch the Slayers cosplayers before their panel, but they were REALLY busy setting up and running late, so I just got a quick one of Gourry and Amelia. I felt bad for bothering them... But surprisingly, there were a lot more Slayers cosplayers than I thought! I caught this Zel earlier, as well as this Zel and Xel. I didn't realize how bad the picture was until later, which sucks because their costumes were really good.
So anyway, that was day 2. ^^ Also spotted...

RONIN WARRIORS. *Has a fangirl spaz* God I love that show. Yay for '80's nostalgia~!
Syaoran and Kurogane, who I ran into later. It's a pity they didn't know about the Clamp shoot, the other Fai and I would have had fun. XD And we could have had CCS Sakura and Tsubasa Sakura doing a tug of war over Syaoran, which would have been fun.... Ah well.

Ryou Bakura and Yami Bakura. X3 Yay YGO cosplayers~! Their Rings are actually amazing. If you can't see the cards they're holding in the picture, Ryou's holding the Change of Heart, and Yami Bakura's holding a card with Sephiroth's picture, a la The Abridged Series. XD It cracked me up!
