Ohayocon '09 Report - Day 1
Sooo, yay Ohayocon '09~! =D
Kat and I decided to wander back early, since she's not feeling well and there wasn't much we wanted to do tonight. Therefore, not much happened. I got glomped and hugged a few times dressed as Duo (Gundam Wing), but that's about it.
I did get to take a picture with a really awesome group of GW cosplayers that included a Zechs, a Noin, a Treize and a Heero, but I didn't get a chance to talk to them much since they needed to run off to host a panel. (That's me as Duo in the picture.) I think they're the same group who's going to be cosplaying Slayers tomorrow, so I'll have to find them again. =)
So yeah, not much yet. But tomorrow I get to embark on the Great Doujinshi Hunt in the Dealer's Room, and I have two photoshoots to engage in. And hope that my eyepatch doesn't decide to make me overly dizzy. ^^

Edit: O.M.SQUEE!! X3~~ As I'm sitting in the hotel lobby surfing the net, a Hiei and Kurama (from YYH) wander in. I, of course, practically fall all over myself asking to get a picture. And then they offer YAOI. X3~~~ I can now die HAPPEH.

Also spotted:
Splash-dragon Kurogane. He was actually really nice.... and really cute. XD We stood and talked for a few minutes. Apparently he just finished reading up through Infinity in the manga, and I warned him that the mind-screws only get worse.
One of my friends, I won't put up her name unless she says I can. ^-^ Cute Raichu, huh?
Kodomo (tree spirits, aka The Bobble-Heads) from Mononoke-hime. X3~ Creative and unique = A+
Ichihara Yuuko, from xxxHolic. XD We had a nice discussion about fiddly costume jewelry and Yuuko's sleeves. This girl was using hers as storage space, I commented that's totally what the real Yuuko uses hers for. XD
