Looking ahead
On the plus side, my summer semester tuition and books (and bills) will be covered one way or another. It looks like financial aid payments I had thought were already disbursed will be applied to summer (Yay!), meaning that I can cover it myself. Otherwise, my family consists of wonderful people who are willing to help me out.
On the minus side, it appears that I'll only be taking three classes (9 credits) instead of four (12 credits). As far as I can tell before talking to my advisor, the business writing class I had been intending to take didn't get enough enrollment, and so was dropped from the schedule. When I went to confirm enrollment, only three classes were listed, so I looked up the English I had been expecting, and it doesn't show up at all. I suppose that's the risk of signing up for classes more than a month or two in advance. So, it looks like I'll still be full time, but with a little more time to myself than I had originally expected.
Either way, it's a huge financial worry off my mind.
