Holiday knitting round-up

Only a month or so late, my Christmas knitting photos.

Most of the scarves were a simple, three-cable pattern that I could knit up easily while sitting in class:

There were two of these, in Cascade 200 wool.

Both this and the previous scarf were made from Lion Brand Cotton Ease, which worked out fabulously

Made with Lion Brand "Vanna's Choice," which turns out not to be as horrid as one might think.

Made with Caron Perfect Match, which was received well, but is probably a little more acrylic than I'd use again.

A simple 'knit and purl' lengthwise, with simple tassels. Made with Caron Simply Soft.

A "fisherman's" scarf, made with Plymouth Encore.

You can see a bit more of the cabling detail here, but not enough. I love this scarf, and the yarn is fantastic. It's a multi-tone green, and a good winter weight that washes up nice and soft. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a decent photograph for the life of me.

A much smaller knit, done on 6's instead of 8's or 9's like the others; Plymouth Dreambaby DK.

A reversible cable pattern, very warm but very thick; Caron Simply Soft

Another pattern that I love, with cables and twists and travels. Not a project I could do in class, but one of my favorites; Caron Simply Soft
