People fucking with us again.
I'm having to do a "full inspection" of our property.
A couple of our smaller kitties started getting out of the play area. I've been trying to figure out for the last couple of weeks how they were getting out(it's been going on maybe 3 weeks at most).
I found where some damned jackass had cut a hole in the fence and bent the wires back so our kitties could get out. The cats were getting in and out there. You could see they'd used cutters and cut the wire - and the cut wires were folded back against the others. It was the only place where the fence was easy to get to from outside, and down low where the kitties could just hop through the hole.
It really doesn't make sense - except that maybe someone is messing with us again. I don't even understand what they'd get out of it. (There is also some evidence that they'd been messing around in my tool shed.)
I patched the hole up and as soon as we have some free $$$, we're putting in a sensor light and maybe more (we have some interesting ideas). In the meantime, we'll do what we can (I spent part of this afternoon working on the fence... making repairs and trying to drive the posts in deeper.)
I'd call the pigs about it, but that would be a waste of time. Every time we call them (with one exception), they write it off as "a kid's prank", or "accident". They even tried to write off racist hate graffiti spraypainted in front of our mailbox as a "kid's prank", but one of the people who came had promised me that they would make out a report. The sergeant who was in charge was NOT happy with him for making that promise, and tried her best to dismiss the harassment we get. The funny thing is that we'd called about harassment in the past, but were always told "we have no records of someone harassing you!" - so they wouldn't make a report out. Nice catch-22 situation they created for us.
Shit, they even tried to write off the torching of my electronics workshop as "bad wiring" even though I told them (1) I'd been threatened, (2) the wire in question was rated for at least twice the maximum possible current allowed by the fuses and breakers (continuous duty), and (3) I'd inspected that very section of wire two days before the fire, and it was in like-new condition. I ended up having to fight with the fire department for over an hour over the report, but they DID change it to "fire of unknown cause". Thing is, how the fire started was impossible UNLESS it was arson, and it started in the ONLY location where the wiring to my shop was accessible to anyone who jumped the fence and didn't have keys.
I wish I could find someone (in authority) who would listen and get this shit STOPPED and INVESTIGATE. There is strong evidence that what we go through is what a lot of people around the country have gone through when they resisted the local Christians and their churches. Local politicians? All Republican and the last time I tried to talk with them (about paying 20x the taxes I should have when I was in business), I got a two-word reply: "Tough Shit!". The local law enforcement - I wouldn't trust them further than I could throw them. Even the local FBI office refused to do anything about it when the Klan and the militant Islamists were meeting in this region about how to kill more Jews shortly after 9/11 (that's documented).
