Polydactal kitten OK... been busy.

The Polydactal kitten must be the runt of the litter... she's smaller and seems a tiny bit behind the others, but she's eating really well and even though the fuzzy one is almost twice her size, she holds her own in the rough-housing. I was concerned for her but it looks like they just weren't that hungry.

Since Sue inherited her dad's car and utility trailer, I've started a cleanup project - now that we have the means to drag stuff to the recyclers and dump (and scrappers), I've started going through stuff. Of course, being "off" from classwork helps.

My goal is to get rid of the burned-out hulk of my old electronics workshop. Today I just was pitching scorched and partially burned books into the trailer - I've got a trailer full, and I'd hate to think how many thousands of dollars of books were ruined. Once those have been recycled, then I'm filling it with junk electronics - stuff that was damaged beyond salvaging by the fire or the "suds" that the firemen sprayed everything with.

After that, scrap metal to the scrappers, then we'll start pulling the burned-out hulk down. I hope to have it all done in a couple of months (less if possible - like to have it done in a month).

Sue hopes that we can get enough by scrapping the frame and sides of that old trailer to invest in a new building so I can move my tools out of the fire-and-termite damaged shed they're in now.

I have to have it finished before fall, because that's when I need to have my research proposal finished and turned in - and then we'll start getting ready for quals.
