I know the first chapter kind of makes no sense.. I should probably make some notes! But hopefully this one clears the air a bit. Not much, but a bit!

Eep, commenting a week after I read this!

This chapter was so awesome! Bruce-on-Bruce confrontation! Or ... not really! But imagining two guys who looked like Bruce in one scene was more than worth the price of admission, so to speak. :D

And Talon! LOL! He cracked me up with his temper tantrum. I was entertained far too much by the Talon/Owlman "go fuck yourself!" dynamic here more than I probably should have been. I love how you write them, too--on the one hand, they're kind of like low level thugs, what with the celebrations after beating on the GCPD, but on the other hand, their minds are just as keen and agile as their Bat equivalents:

Of course they are good, that’s what makes this interesting. Actually, that’s the only reason why I give a damn about this.

Woo! Go Owlman. :D

And I loved it when Vak came in, and the effect he had on Owlman.

The other man smiled, and it was identical to Tommy’s smile. The vigilante swallowed hard, willing his heart to still. He remembered that smile.

Tommy's smile, turned against him! I think that was my favorite moment, to see Tommy, who isn't intimidated by anyone, be intimidated by his twin.

Tommy felt his heart skip a beat, and it wasn’t either romantic or exciting, it scared the crap out of him.

LMAO! Way to slip that in. :D

And this was my second favorite moment:

Tommy stared at him for a long while, looking for something in his mind, some disused synapses that had become weaker and weaker as he kept taking the neuro-cortex enhancers. Bruce just sat there, looking at him like he had all the time in the world, with that little smile he had sported when they were kids and he had a secret to share. Tommy found the back room, tasting blood in his mouth and feeling it trickling down his nose, and he called. ::Bruce?::

When Tommy went through all that effort to re-establish their link. I never thought Owlman could make me wibble, but he did there!

And the back story on their parents was so intriguing! I've never known much about the Waynes in regular canon (I get the impression there's really not much on them and their relationship out there? I am probably wrong, though!) so it was really interesting to find out so much about this version of them here. Martha Kane, the beautiful manipulative tigress! Mrow!

The ending line is perfect, too:

I am Vak Báleygr, the Watchful Flame Eye. I am Wotan, the man behind the Storm. Are you interested in hearing my offer?

Eeee, more, more, there must be more! *applauds*

The Bruce-on-Bruce confrontation was so much fun to write, I really like Tommy, he's.. they are both quite different in canon, but similar enough. They are.. confusing, and entertaining, and I think they both think they have the other right where they want him. Which means neither of they do, I guess!

And yay! I'm glad you liked Talon and Owlman! I think Dick growing up with Tommy is.. pretty scary. But Earth 3 is a pretty scary place, so I guess that works for them, I was aiming for the malicious sibling vibe, a play on silver age Bruce and Dick, and it was a lot of fun to write. ...Tommy might be acting there like my own brothers, lol.

Tommy smile turned against him, bweee! I'm glad you liked that bit, it's one of my favorite traits of Owlman, how much he smiles, and how creepy it is because he seems to have extra teeth. Waaahhh, weird!

T-Rex was happy to collaborate with Tommy's moment of apprehension X) And I'm happy I could make Tommy a little bit woobie worthy! I think he is woobie worthy, but he hides it pretty well.

There's not much out about the Wayne's, really... there's a storyline about Martha's best friend taking over WE and being like, a mob boss. Her name is Athena, I can't remember the storyline.. Family? I think that was the name. That one deals a bit with Martha, but I have only seen scans of it. I mostly made the background up, going from what wiki told me was the backstory for the Waynes in Earth 3 :P
