*claps her hands*

This is lovely and complicated and smokey and great! You leave me dying for more, lol, shame on you...

Dick beamed, quickly getting over his gloom, and went ahead to read the computer’s search results. “Fire Storm, terrorist operation based in South Africa. Tropical storm Edgar, headed towards Mexico’s Gulf. Tropical storm Fiona, headed towards Florida. Another bunch of tropical storms. Space Storm, Russian manned space defense project. Die Sturm, Germany based mob. Tormenta, Spain based metahuman with weather powers. Dreamstorm, Scandinavian urban art movement… do you want me to go on? The rest seem kind off-topic.”

I just have to quote all of this because I just so love the way you show people doing research, it seems so real and I love all the little false leads and extraneous information wandering around in there...

He threw his costume as he went down the stairs -first the blue domino, then the feather plate cape, the orange body armor, the blue shorts and boots.I confess to being rather in love with your ( ... )

Smokey! I like that :) It seems like it's a bleak world in my head.. but the players aren't so. They just want to make a difference! any difference. Whatever it takes. I can't wait to write Barracuda, eeee ( ... )

Love Tommy's reaction to Bruce/Val. How in the name of hell indeed. And the backstory is pretty intriguing. There's more to this right? Like how Martha sought out Alan, and if we'll see Alan in time. I'm big time excited to see how this turns out :D

Thank you! yay! I had a lot of fun figuring out how to bring both Clark and Bruce into that Earth... especially since Ultraman is supposed to be Clark Kent, astronaut, I needed another Clark to play our Clark... it all got pretty crazy!

I really want to tell the story of Martha's feigned murder from her POV! I need to find a place in the story to put that flashback :) I'm so glad you liked this! Next chapter has the backstory of Clark, so hopefully more will be cleared out by then :) thank you for reading!

Eeee, this is awesome!

*flails* This backstory has just got me asking more and more questions and desperate to see more! Eeee, Martha! And Alan! And Dick and Tommy! *flails* I just want to pet him but I think he might hurt me if I tried... lol. And Bruce/Vak is just awesome. *squees*

*glomps* I really hope there is more soon! :D

*giggles* Martha/Alan is so crazy! Bruce doesn't want to get into many details 'cause it weirds him out but I kind of want to write Martha's POV of the feigned murder. Fun!

Dick and Tommy seem like such an odd pair in my head! I ended up dividing he batclan between Tommy and Bruce... Tommy can't be without Talons!

Bruce is so fun to write here, very conspiratorial and dangerous! I am not very good at writing action but hopefully I'll get to try some of it in this universe.

I'll be posting the third chapter soon, I hope! it's almost done :) I'm so glad you like this, Star! thank you for reading!

My lack of knowledge of the Multiple Earths storyline is annoying me here, even though the way you describe the characters and conduct your story I guess it´s not even essentially a necessity to know all about the CSA to understand your world.
All the same, this new backstory takes some getting used to. But going from a clear black and white (good and bad) separation of the characters into the zones of grey opens all kinds of exciting possibilities.

One small note, ignore if I seem presumptuous or it´s just too marginal, but it´s "Der Sturm" in german, not "Die Sturm".

Well, there's not much to know about the CSA, since, like usual, DC has like 3 conflicting stories where they star, so.. I had to make up a lot of it. Definitely no need for much knowledge about them to follow the story -or it shouldn't be, but I suspect I'm more confusing that I wanted to be...- other than Tommy Wayne, Bruce's brother, is Owlman, Clark Kent -who was an astronaut and not a reporter- is Ultraman and that Lois Lane -Daily Planet chief editor- is Superwoman. Everything else I should explain while I write... I hope! :P I'll be happy to clarify anything if I mess up, lol.

That backstory was the mess that got me into this story in the first place! I wanted to find a way for Bruce and Tommy to exist in the same world, and since Bruce died in that Earth along with their mother.. I had to come up with a way to fix that. I love writing them as shades of gray! I'm glad you like them like that :)

And thank you so much for the catch! I always mess up the genders... my German is pretty rusty, so thanks for letting me know!

Eep, commenting a week after I read this!

This chapter was so awesome! Bruce-on-Bruce confrontation! Or ... not really! But imagining two guys who looked like Bruce in one scene was more than worth the price of admission, so to speak. :D

And Talon! LOL! He cracked me up with his temper tantrum. I was entertained far too much by the Talon/Owlman "go fuck yourself!" dynamic here more than I probably should have been. I love how you write them, too--on the one hand, they're kind of like low level thugs, what with the celebrations after beating on the GCPD, but on the other hand, their minds are just as keen and agile as their Bat equivalents:

Of course they are good, that’s what makes this interesting. Actually, that’s the only reason why I give a damn about this.

Woo! Go Owlman. :D

And I loved it when Vak came in, and the effect he had on Owlman.

The other man smiled, and it was identical to Tommy’s smile. The vigilante swallowed hard, willing his heart to still. He remembered that smile.Tommy's smile, turned against him ( ... )

I always comment long after I read! :P so no guilt to be had here, sis!The Bruce-on-Bruce confrontation was so much fun to write, I really like Tommy, he's.. they are both quite different in canon, but similar enough. They are.. confusing, and entertaining, and I think they both think they have the other right where they want him. Which means neither of they do, I guess ( ... )
