I am writing, yes I am, and right now I'm angry at work for interrupting my writing spur.. the sad part is that I'm not writing my WFGE entries, but two other bunnies that.. damn them, but they are loud! The newest one got me researching for hours last night

Christmas was good over here. I'm starting therapy to deal with my issues with my mother and probably my anxiety and depression on January, which is good -I suppose, I've never had therapy before...
I've been to-oh geez-eight or so different therapists. I really clicked with a few and they helped me a lot, but I didn't get along with some of them and it was a waste of my time. I still refer to one of my former psychiatrists as Dr. Jerk-wad. I hope you're able to find someone you really connect with and like and that he or she can help you. *huuugs*

I have a bunch of bunnies I've gotten from comments hopping around (electric blue sex, love notes in Kryptonian) and none of them seem to involve men's shoes! But they should! Oh wait, is this about spats? Is Mina going to give me some kind of crazy spats kink? She is, isn't she?
I also recommend the Golden Compass books. They're very nuanced and thoughtful and never take the easy way out. I cried a few times during the last book.

Electric blue sex? Do you mean sex with Electric Blue Superman? I think that would break my brain because I know your writing is awesome, but Electric Superman was such a dumb idea...DOES NOT COMPUTE!

Oh, me too, as did most of my friends. The main thing I keep hearing about the movie is that they removed anything controversial, leaving a beautiful looking run-of-the-mill fantasy tale. I can't imagine they'd be able to adapt the other two books using the same MO.

Oh yeah, I can't imagine they could show the...Adam and Eve sections...*looks shiftily at Mina* as they are, not to mention the more complex theological arguments. And they couldn't possibly end it that way. Which would make me really angry, in one of those "Of course I wanted it to end differently, but that was the right ending" sorts of ways...

And nope, not crazy spats kink, not really. I would have to put grace Kelly to write that, and then it would spur the Wilde-Bruce bunny, which is a different bunny altogether :P Soooo.. I can't talk about it!
I will look for the books, then. I found the setting very interesting, and the hype about the religious downplay seemed worth to check things out anyway, but I really did think the movie was a bit... Johns-like, you know what I mean. (Johns, I want to like your books more, be less of a hack!)
