Not much to report here, sorry to say. Last week was a nightmare of unending stress and right now I'm just hoping that the stress does not carry over (and given that my phone has just decided to go all wonky, I am not currently optimistic about that

I'm with you - I think I'd be sad even if space wasn't high on my "fan-of" list, because really, the dude walked on the moon. Few of the celebrities who've been passing have done quite as much. (I actually almost threw a fit today because my local radio station cut from discussing his death to announcing that Snooki had had her baby. And then talked about how that kinda made up for the death? NO, NO, NO. NOT EVEN REMOTELY THE SAME KIND OF CELEBRITY GAAAHHH.)

ME TOO. Last night wasn't so bad because I started to expect it, but the first dozen times or so had me leaping sideways every time it rebooted. DROID.

I WAS SO ANGRY. Unless that poor kid grows up to be an astronaut (and lands on either the moon or, say, Mars) they're not even in the same ballpark of awesome. Uuurrrgh. Of course I have other issues with our society rating celebrities over everything else.

I don't either! The last name is the same, sure, but Neil and Lance are different names? And bicycling isn't all that similar to being an astronaut?

Hahahahhahhaah in light of all the issues I'm having I'm thinking of getting an iPhone. I'm hesitant only because I've grown fond of the Android User Interface and because I don't know how to customize ringtones on the iPhone. (My Android has a theme, and I am very fond of it. And petty enough that keeping that theme may well be a contributing factor in whether I get an iPhone or a better, newer Droid.)

I do sometimes if my iPod battery is low or if I'm only going a short distance, but I've been in the habit of listening to the radio in the mornings because...I don't know. I'm in it for the music anyway, so I should just use my iPod

SO I JUST WENT INTO THE LOCAL APPLE STORE and they reminded me I could make my own for free if I use garageband. Then a friend reminded me that people (being awesome and hilarious nutters that they are) post all sorts of songs and quotes and sayings on youtube and I could just get MP3's from there and convert 'em to the right format.

With that problem solved, I'm totes getting an iPhone. I NEED THAT SYNCING. And those reminders, because I am really bad at remembering to make appointments.

YUS! Your ringtones are all just formatted as...oh, i think the guy I talked to said MA4? Either way it's just a matter of selecting the 40 seconds of whatever song/dialogue clip/whatever you want and converting it via garageband to the right format and saving it. iTunes handles the rest.
