So my grandma is not doing well at all. She has bone cancer. Last time I was home I went to see her and she just lays in bed. I couldnt even see her legs under the covers because she has lost so much weight. She started refusing all treatment about 2 or 3 months ago. My mom and stepdad kept trying to get her to move in with them, but she wouldnt. Then last weekend on Saturday, she fell and laid face down in the floor for 8 hours before anyone knew anything was wrong. They finally got her to move in with them. Moved a hospital bed into the bedroom. The chaplain came the other night and talked to her. We all know, and she knows that she only has a couple days. Shaun flew in from the Navy from California last night. He's at home. I don't think I'm going to go home. It's just too depressing there and the first week of classes here and work etc., I can't really come away from everything right now. Besides, there's nurses at the house 24/7 and my brother and family... etc. There's not a lot I could do anyway. It's just better to remember her like I do now rather than see her in this kind of condition. I just wish I could have one more picture with her and I.

Josh has been awesome. We had the best night last night. I got off work early. The thing with my grandma and everything, I just couldnt take being there yesterday. Besides, my tues/thurs days go like this...
Statistics 9:30-10:45
Geology 11-12:15
Microeconomics 2-3:15
Psychology 3:30-4:45
and then I have to work 5-11

Makes for a really hectic day, I know I'll have to work on Thursdays because I always work Thursday night league. I know their shoe sizes by heart for gods sake. But I'm going to tell him to keep me off of Tuesday nights.

Mon/Wed/Fri I have Contracts & Sales from 9:00-9:50 and then a break til 2 and then Accounting 2 from 2:00-3:15

So after I got off work last night, I was feeling really down. I was supposed to go over to Josh's, but I really just felt like going home and taking a bath. Then I really just wanted Josh around and I knew he had stuff to do... that's why I was going to go over there and him not come over here. But I called him and asked him if he would mind coming over here... I wanted him here to keep my mind off of my grandma and stuff and I really wanted to relax here instead of being over at his place. And he said "of course" ... no hesitation dropped what he was doing and came over. I respect him. He has his priorities together and he's there when I need him.

I had this revelation. Second major... no longer finance... changing it to... none other than philosophy, I think. Law and Philosophy I think will go good together and I love philosophy. I'm excited.
