Today I'm thankful for
I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving!
- My family. I always whine about how horrible they all are, but it's nice to have somewhere to come home to at night, even if that place does happen to have my father at it. I'm especially appreciative of my grandparents who we'll be visiting today since they care so much for Diana and I and they won't be in the world too much longer.
- Diana. She is the coolest cat to ever traverse the planet. If you ever have a need to wiggle your butt or sing the Meow-Mix theme song 100+ times, you can count on Soeur.
- Finding Mirabelle. We haven't exactly caught her yet, but we've trapped her and now all we have to do is wait for her to come out. More on that later, however.
- My friends. Even though I tend not to be thankful for you all, I really am. I'm a very lucky girl since I can get along with so many people IRL. Even if it involved spending waaaay too much money on Christmas presents, it's well worth it.
- My natural talents. I whine too much about not succeeding, but in reality I'm blessed to be where I am without having to work that hard. So many people don't have a plethora of natural gifts, and I should use mine instead of abusing them.
- My affluence. I'm so privileged to be able to afford all my IB and music fees, to get new clothes each year, to eat quality food, to have all the hard and software I've got, to be able to see movies and plays and go out to eat. I really don't appreciate my situation enough.
