Lots of things... So many, it may even deserve two posts!
Yesterday morning we found out that my grey rat, Mirabelle had escaped. She gnawed a hole through her tubing and just... left. We've searched the entire house multiple times, looking in every nook and cranny, but to no avail. We even bought a humane rat trap and left it out last night and today, but she hasn't come back. Mum thinks she somehow got out of the house and is now blissfully living in our yard. Diana and the other rat, Charlee are both emotionally distressed right now. Diana hates the idea of replacing Mirabelle, but Charlee is moping around the cage, so we think she needs a new companion. Gawsh... I really hope Mirabelle comes back; she was my favorite rat :\
In other yesterdayish sorts of news, my Harry Potter Soundtracks (both SS and CoS) arrived in the mail yesterday. I've been listening to them both, and I think I'm likin' SS better. CoS doesn't seem to have as much of a diversity of themes on it, and it lacks the awesome Christmas song.
Today in Anatomy/Physiology, we skinned our disection cats.
radicaldestiny and my cat's name is Fredrigo Joao (a has a squiggle over the top, but when you put that in LJ gets all messed up) the XXIVth and he is a scrawny black pirate cat who now currently only has skin on his paws and head. At the beginning of class while Mr. Hayes showed us how to skin the cats, it looked a little gross (and smelled a bit nasty too, may I add) but as we started going... well... it became fun. I mean, there's CathErine freaking out about it all, squirming around in her chair, and me cutting into the flesh of this kitten. I'm not quite sure why, but skinning a cat is really quite satisfying. Maybe I'm just letting out my inherent need for violence or something. I can't wait until next week--- then we get to pull its muscles apart!
New LJ picture... And now I think I'll actually *make* some dollz. What a novel idea!
