... you may have to just make do without a horse.

[If Minari Minato is a little more toneless and seems even more blank than usual, don't mind him.]

[America makes this 'urk' noise as he looks incredibly shocked that he heard Minato say such a thing.]

Aw, dude, that's totally like, violating some kind of major ranger code, y'know?! Seriously, you ever have a burger without the patty? Or uh, like sushi without the rice! Wait, that's sashimi or something, but you get what I'm saying, right?! No cowboy runs around without a horse! I'll get one for sure! I'm a hero, so it's gotta be this way!

... cowboys don't spend the entire time on horseback. Sometimes they dismount. In towns or to sneak around places. ... at least in movies I've seen.

Yeah, but they always arrive on scene or ride off into the sunset on a horse! Or they gotta chase down bad guys or race a train or something! [He makes a riding motion by bobbing up and down and holding his hands up as if gripping reins.] Aw maaan, now I'm aching for some good ol' westerns! Guess this thingymajig doesn't have Netflix huh?

If Minato were familiar with a certain classic Monty Python film, he would suggest coconuts. Alas, he is not.

You are lucky there aren't any trains here, then. Also, you are already here, so pretend you're just in the middle of the story.

...what's Netflix?

Hey, that's no fun if you can't add some action to the story, right? If it's gotta be done, I'm gonna do it right! There's no way a hero should settle for anything less! And dude, you gotta get out more if you've never tried Netflix! It's like a buffet! But with movies! Y'know, like all you can watch for $7.99 a month!

Oh. ... I don't think we have Netflix in Japan.

And there are more ways to add some action besides a train or chasing someone on horseback.
