Akihiko @ Wikia -
Akihiko in P3P -
Persona 3 Plot Personality:The best way to describe Akihiko is strong and determined. He's the captain of his school's boxing team and has never lost a match to anyone. He likes taking on difficult challenges due to his competitive nature and he doesn't like to admit to failure readily.
He has an aura about him that causes people to look up to him, and in the case of girls, fawn over him. He's an able student and a good role-model, doing quite well in his exams and studying when necessary. He also seems cool and distant to those who know little about him, never getting overly emotional about things. This adds to his mysterious aura.
When it comes to socializing, especially with girls, Akihiko is a pretty awkward guy. The girls at school literally throw themselves at him but he doesn't really see it and just sees them as a nuisance. The guy doesn't even know what love feels like until someone tells him. He also doesn't really make friends outside of SEES members and only truly opens up to those he knows very well. Those who have the privilege of getting to know him well can see he's a trustworthy friend who won't give up on them and will fight no matter the cost.
Before Shinji was injured though, it was different. Akihiko would try to ignore his past and keep even those close to him at a distance. Because of his failure to save Miki he would be furious at any weakness he showed and would keep striving to get stronger; even the slightest sign of weakness would bother him. But from seeing Shinji take death head on he finds resolution in his heart (gaining a new persona, Caesar) and vows to do the same - to stop worrying about his past and his weaknesses. Because of this he faces challenges with a new sense of determination. He was the first of the group to say he will take on Nyx even if the odds of winning are impossible. He would rather die in a struggle than give up without a fight.
Akihiko isn't all serious, calm and mysterious though. He's a friendly guy and has a sense of humour. He took on Junpei's bet of who could be the first to pick up a girl, and he doesn't mind teasing people he's close to. He can joke and laugh just like any other teenager (even joking about sneaking into Tartarus wearing Junpei's hat).
Strengths:
-Akihiko is mostly a calm and collected person. He doesn't have emotional outbursts like Junpei and can work out a strategy for situations. He's a very good leader too because of this.
-He's strong, years of training and boxing will do that. He's never lost a match.
-He has no problem summoning his Persona; he doesn't hesitate to use his evoker.
-He's a caring guy. He will look out for those close to him no matter what.
Weaknesses:
-He can be stubborn, and sometimes won't accept that he's failed. (it took him months to accept that Junpei won the bet).
-He tries to carry all his problems on his own. He's not really one for sharing his problems and lifting the weight from his shoulders with just anyone.
-Akihiko is a normal teenager and as such is susceptible to all things a normal teenager is.
-He fears losing people close to him and finds it hard to let new people get close.
-He's awkward in certain social situations, and sometimes acts completely oblivious to what he's saying. One might say he's inarticulate.
Extra:Character Abilities:He's a boxer so he's a naturally good fighter. Since he hasn't lost a match that says a lot about his strength. He can summon his Persona - Caesar - to aid him in battle using his evoker.
Since I'm taking Akihiko from near end game, Caesar has learned all his best moves. A list of the skills Caesar has are as follows:
Ziondyne - Inflicts a large amount of Electricity damage on one enemy
Maziodyne - Inflicts a large amount of Electricity damage on all enemires
Elec Amp - Increases Electricity damage output by 50%
Diarahan - Recovers all HP to an ally.
Marakunda - Decreases all enemies' Defense for 3 turns.
Masukunda - Decreases all enemies Agility for 3 turns
Matarunda - Decreases all enemies' Attack for 3 turns
Fist Master - Inflict double damage with a Fist equipped
Possessions:The clothes he's wearing
Boxing gloves
Wings of Vanth - his fist weapon
His evoker
An unusable cellphone.
Anything else: Nope.

Post @ R29 Log/Prose sample:"Uhn..."
Akihiko winced as he tried to get up from the couch. His injury still quite fresh from the fight. He hated this, it was a sign of weakness; of failure. Had he not trained hard enough? If one thing was clear in his mind, as he fell back down, was that he needed to get stronger.
"Ergh!"
This damn injury was holding him back. If he hadn't been so careless this never would have happened. He was more than relieved that Minako could summon her Persona. She was strong - naturally so, it made Akihiko a little bit envious, but more determined to get stronger. He finally stood up through the pain of his ribs. How long would it be before he could join the fray with them and contribute? He didn't like this helpless feeling. He didn't want to be coddled and told to "Take it easy". He'd made a few little jokes and comments about joining them in Tartarus, but he knew deep down that it was a stupid idea. All he could do was take it easy for awhile until he healed...
Which could be a few weeks...
...He made his way to Mitsuru's room. Maybe he could persuade her somehow. It didn't hurt that much...
He winced again as he knocked on her door.
