Personality:
When one meets Sousuke, they would merely think he's just a military maniac. It's a nickname he's acquired for himself at school. Sousuke is like this because of his upbringing. Being forced into military operations and combat training at a young age and now working for MITHRIL - he's never lived a normal life and has very little in the way of social skills. Everything Sousuke does is reflected this way. Situations that could be handled in a normal, civil way are turned into a military conquest in which Sousuke uses all his training to solve the situation in a way he knows best - which usually involves blowing things up or pointing guns at peoples' heads. He takes his job of protecting Kaname seriously much to her chagrin. He constantly checks around for any danger and sees most anything as a potential threat, breaking whatever it is apart to disarm it and disperse any threat it may have caused. Unfortunately most of his tactics usually cause more problems than they solve. He doesn't realises that these kinds of tactics are better suited for the battlefield.
Despite his upbringing and awkwardness, Sousuke isn't a heartless military freak with a thirst for battle. He takes his given tasks very seriously but he also wants to protect those who cannot do so themselves - or those he cares about - no matter how dangerous it might be. He cares for his comrades a great deal also. At one point when he lost a team of soldiers to Gauron he started to disbelieve in himself and began to worry when he had to face Gauron again, feeling that he would fail again and his comrades would be killed. He managed to overcome this and continued fighting and eventually beat Gauron, but his compassion for people as much as it is a strength his also very much a weakness.
It is also shown in the series that Sousuke draws his strength from Kaname. He becomes an unstoppable force when she is in danger or kidnapped (and is probably part of the reason he's so defensive at school to protect her) and when she's around to support him feels he can do anything. She's also the only person who can keep him in check, without her around he's prone to doing foolish things, more so than usual. Despite her being a part of his strength she can also bring a weakness in him. He cares for Kaname a great deal and if anything happens to her he forgets everything else, even becoming somewhat reckless in hopes of saving her.
It's also important to note that Sousuke is completely clueless when it comes to girls, as well as showing his feelings. When he was forced to go on a date with a girl he was completely clueless as to what she'd be interested in talking about, choosing instead to talk about military subjects, strategies and the like. When nervous or shy he will start to act even more formal than usual, while sweating buckets and stuttering.

Sousuke specializes in the following: Arm Slave operations and maintenance, improvised explosives, guns and other small arms, survival training, anti-armour combat, trap setting and camouflage.
He is also proficient in logistics, demolitions, breach and forced entry, covert intrusion and hand-to-hand combat.
He is the only soldier of MITHRIL who can power the Lambda Driver of his Arm Slave. Of course his Arm Slave - ARX-7 Arbalest - will not be with him, but Sousuke can power a number of military vehicles and weapons.
He is fluent in English and Japanese. He can also speak Russian and Persian and a few Afghan dialects.
Possessions:
A gun with non-lethal rounds.
Clothes - Military (the green one, not the one he wear in Arbalest), school and casual
I would also say he arrives with some explosives but best not to have him blow the place up yes? :|

I have been here almost a week now yet I find this place most illogical. How can persons' be taken from their home worlds? It's really quite puzzling. None of the locals will talk to me which leads me to believe they are hiding something.
I cannot give up, I must find a way back home. Kaname Chidori is not present here so the probability of her being in danger right now is almost certainly 90%. I do not wish to abandon my post so I must figure out what this is all about quickly and return.

I also appear to have failed to bring back Miss Chidori's school notes and I would rather not make her mad. She becomes rather unpredictable and it makes things difficult.
If anyone has any information on returning please inform me immediately.
