Today is another day!
I barely slept last night. I'm not sure if it was the after effects of everything or whether it was related to the headache I had (why did i get that? I still have it) or whether it was nerves in going to the Family Court today and supporting my brother through his access hearing.
Regardless, I finally fell into a deep sleep around 5am (well, that's the last time I saw the clock) and woke at 7am. I promptly hit the snooze button and grabbed another 10 minutes.
Up I got, hands washed and did my blood glucose levels (BGL). From memory I think it was around 11.4 this morning. Got out the weetbix and zapped them in the microwave for 40 seconds (can't stand cold milk!) and then put them on the table, got out the insulin pen, dialled up the amount and went jab....waited for it to wind down and then waited 3 seconds and withdrew it. It had a little bit of insulin on the end (so did the one last night) I'm not sure if that's normal and as IT DIDN'T HURT ONE BIT, I was afraid I may not have actually injected myself lol.
Ahhhhhhh from one extreme to another!
I'm sorry if i caused any of you any concern and thank you for your messages to me :). I do want to reassure you that I am fine and maybe last night was just the culmination of it all and the reality of the change in my life.
I think I'm ok now :)
