Time has now come

and now after 7 years of trying all kinds of medications............it's time for insulin. I have just come home from seeing my endocrinologist and as nothing else is working, it's time to try it. So next Wednesday I meet with the diabetes educator who will show me how to use the insulin pen and i'm to stab myself twice daily. She'll explain how much i need to start with, then if needed it will be upped. I have to stay on the tablets as well for the time being, but the new tablet he put me on in April to try and get my levels down, which obviously didn't work, i can give up.

It's a whole new world out there and hopefully i will start to feel part of the human race again.......YAYYYYYYYY
