Stuff!
First things first, a big HELLO! <3333 to all by new buddies from the friending meme. You are all beautiful and lovely and I'm happy to inflict my crazy on you have you. :D
Right! So, I woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus this morning (which was pretty inevitable since the rest of my family has been infected for a few days), AND I was out of coffee (horror!), but I did not let that deter me! Oh no! I was productive anyway! *preens*
The first round of edits is basically a triage run; keeping an eye out for glaring continuity errors, bad characterization, epic plot fail, etc. Picking out the things I like, the things I hate, what needs fixed most, all that jazz.
Today I got through the prologue (Hooboy, does that ever need some fixin') and chapter 1. *thumbs up*
I'll be a bit busy with work tomorrow, so I'll probably only get through another chapter or two, but after that I'm hoping to pick up the pace a little and get this first pass done in less than a week. :D
