busy busy busy
so...the last few days have been quite busy xD.
Last Wednesday Kevin and I met up with Tracy and Jacky at Albertsons so Tracy could get her food for our potluck on thursday, we then went to the 99c store mostly so kevin and i could get some gag gifts for our secret santa gathering that's today. we got some...interesting stuff >D. Afterwards, we all went to the mall. we first stopped at borders so kevin could get his not-so-secret-santa gift (he got Tina btw). He bought her the trilogy of books that The Golden Compass is a part of. At Borders though they had a buy 4 books get the 5th free so... Tracy picked a book(and then she and Jacky had to leave), and Kevin called his sister to see if there was a book she wanted. There was but they didn't have it. We looked everywhere, and Kevin got so stressed he started getting all itchy =/ Finally we gave up and I picked out a book instead XD. Afterwards we went to Mervyns so Kevin could get his secret-santa gift. we bought it then went to Bath & Body Works so I could get mine. There was a like 20 person long line, but when we were like 5 people away they were like WE'RE OUT OF GIFT CARDS! ...crap -.-' So...we went to Victoria's Secret and i got a gift card ^^. After that Kevin and I rushed to his friend Michael's house and then we all headed to Frank & Sons. They got a gift for one of their friends, and then we came back and watched Michael play Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (ah...the nostalgia :3 ).
Thursday was our Not-So-Secret-Santa potluck thingy. My mom and I picked up drinks before picking up Kevin, and then we went to the 99c store for cups before getting to SooHoo's house. We were a bit late, but still had to wait for Jonathan, Jacky and Emily to arrive. Jacky wasn't there because as SooHoo put it "he can't find his pants ._.'" Well... in reality his pants were in the bathroom which was occupied at the time xD. Anyways, Jonathan came and we all ate some nummy food~ SooHoo's mom came home with eggrolls and was like "I've got egg rolls! I've Got Egg Rolls! I'VE GOT EGG ROLLS!8D" Which meant...we should eat her egg rolls XD She ate and talked with us for a while until Emily came arounf 1:45. Tracy had to go home so she could be there when her kitchen appliances were delivered so we all went with her and played some games and talked until the stuff came. We exchanged the gifts at Tracy's house. SooHoo and Jacky got each other. SooHoo got the Kingdom of Heaven dvd and a sweatshirt, and Jacky got a couple of shirts i think. I got Kevin and I gave him weight lifting gloves for his Kyo Kusanagi cosplay and a shrit from ANchor blue (but...he has one in that color already so...i guess he'll have to exchange it =/). He got Tina and gave her the trilogy of books that The Golden Compass came from. Tina got Emily but Emily's gift didn't arrive yet. Emily got Tracy and gave her The College Student's Cookbook. Tracy got Jonathan and gave him $20 since he couldn't decide what he wanted -.-' and Jonathan got me. He gave me new headphones (yaay =D). After the exchange and the kitchen stuff came Tracy, SooHoo and Tina went to pick up Tracy's sister and take her somewhere, and Emily, Kevin, Jonathan, Jacky and I went to Fosselmans to get ice cream before heading back to SooHoo's house. At Fosselmans Kevin, Jacky and I couldn't decide what flavour of ice cream to get so we played rock-paper-scissors for it with each of us picking a flavour. Jacky picked mango but...while we were fighting, someone came and took the only container of it so he had to change his mind. Kevin won with strawberry, but Jacky and I convinced him to pick toasted almond instead 8D
We headed back to SooHoo's house and said goodbye to Jonathan, then went to Armando's for dinner. After dinner we came back and Linda divvied up the ice cream...badly. SooHoo only got a few spoonfuls of ice cream D: ...that is sooo the last time we ever let her divvy up ice cream XD We all hung around until around 10:30 when we started going home.
On Friday, I went with Kevin, SooHoo, Barb, Lyn and her husband to go see National Treasure 2. When we reached the theatre we saw Michael's car in the parking lot (we figured it was his because there aren't many people with a transformers decal on the bumper XD) The movie was pretty corny, but still entertaining ^^. Afterwards the two Kevins and I went to Garden Cafe for dinner (at like 1am --; )
On Monday, I went to Kevin's house around 3 and we pretty much bummed around the whole day watching tv (with a stop along the way to pick up pizza XD).
Tuesday was Christmas. My mom and I had to get up early and drag our butts to the hair salon with my grandma and got our hair washed and set =_='' We went to the Charthouse in Santa Monica for dinner at like...3:30 x-x' It's so expensive there X-x for 13 of us our bill came out to something like $720 X__________X''' Personally, I'd be just as happy going somewhere cheaper...and closer where I don't have to get dressed up >.>'
...btw to Tracy: can you send me some Vienna Teng stuff?! I suddenly got this urge to like listen to her stuff, but I've only got Warm Strangers by her ._.'
