settled in...kind of
So, since coming Monday it's been pretty quiet ._.'
First roomie left Tuesday morning, and hasn't been back since, and my 2nd roomie (Maureen) moved in around 2ish on Tuesday. She seems nice :D ...she kind or reminds me of Molly's sister Isabel, quite bubbly XD. She's a micro bio major, and kind of ocd i think ._.' She sprayed every inch of her bedframe, mattress, desk and closet (as well as the top of mine since she'll probably be using it since she has the top bunk) with lysol...flower scented lysol at least, but still D; I'm glad our room has huge windows ^^ She said that she didn't see the bedrame as white, she saw it as crawling with nasties, but that she only has to spray it once, and she's good so, phew XD
She left right after moving all her stuff in though, and hasn't come back yet either.
So...I've been alone 95% of the time i've been here so far. Last year, even from the first day we were all together and eating together, so having to eat alone is a bit of a change for me. Yesterday I went over to CVS to pick up a comb, and a couple of other toiletries, and then went to bobaloca for a watermelon slush (way too sweet D; ).
Today I bought about half of my textbooks off of Amazon and then headed over to the bookstore (first time i've been on campus since I moved out in June!) and got the rest. ...my bill for the stuff from the bookstore was $231, and the stuff from amazon was another $203 *cries* ;~;
I've never had to buy so many books (16!...for 3 classes, and one class hasn't even posted books yet >.>' ) nor have i had to pay so much before. My wallet and I are sad pandas :(
Anyways, since then (and in between all the other stuff) I've pretty much stayed in my room the whole time. I'm glad that the bathroom is right next to my room, so I don't have to go far, or lock my room when I leave because I can hear if someone goes in (the doors are loud opening and closing).
Tomorrow is my first day of class, I'm apprehensive D:
