On March 19th, the production announcement for Saturday drama "Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri" took place in Tokyo. Arashi's Aiba Masaki (29) who plays the lead role, and actor Fujiki Naohito (39) attended among others.
The original work is from the popular mystery series "Mikeneko Holmes" by Akagawa Jirou (64). Aiba plays a chicken detective who passes out when he sees blood and dislikes places of high altitudes, women, and spirits. It's not a new type of hero (protagonist), but please watch over the strange detective's strenuous efforts," he explained.
Regarding Matsuko Deluxe (40) who act as the impersonation of Holmes the mikeneko in which Aiba pairs up with, he promoted, "I'm very excited. Cat monster Matsuko-san! Matsuko-san and cat monsters have a similar yet far, far yet similar image of each other. The highlight will be when she will disguise herself as the cat."
Monday 9 drama "Kagi no Kakatta Heya", in which member Ohno Satoshi (31) plays the lead role in, is also a mystery. Despite the attention gathering about "Arashi vs Arashi", Aiba appealed the group's bond by saying, "Do we have to battle!? Watch Riidaa on Mondays, myself on Saturdays. I would like to continue with harmony."
