Takizawa Hideaki has hopes of becoming Johnny's Jimusho's president.
Johnny's 36 year old male star Takizawa Hideaki has been with the company for 23 years. The newest issue of Shukan Bunshun reports, the 86 year old president Johnny Kitagawa has designated him as his successor, to take up the sole post of president. It is reported that he already started going around different TV networks for idols under the banner, but Johnny's Jimusho's intermediary stated that "The person in charge is not around", not responding about Takizawa's future work projects.
Takizawa entered Johnny's at 13 years old, was received with a lot of doting by Johnny Kitagawa, aside from developing in the theater world, he also has a pair unit with Imai Tsubasa called Tackey & Tsubasa. Last year when they welcomed their 15 year anniversary, they announced a suspension of activities because their views of paths to follow for the future were not the same.
