testing
Oh. We finished testing today. I had to proctor 5 exams over the last 2 days. It wasn't very fun. All I did was stand, walk around, poke students who were sleeping, and stand some more. I got to observe the test taking skills (or rather, the lack of test taking skills) that the students have. One think I've noticed that's strange is most students have mechanical pencils, and yet they ALL have erasers and use them constantly. Then they play with the eraser bits. I haven't seen people use erasers forever; no one uses them in the US...at least, just in my experience.
Then I had to grade the AC tests. The averages went down a lot. Compared to unit 1, this unit 9 students of mine failed, as opposed to 2. I really am annoyed with them right now. Lots of them made stupid mistakes.
