About the 19th and following
There was a going away party for me and another coworker. I`ll be heading back to unemployment heaven/hell in California on the 27th. T__T It was a fun party, as yakiniku puts your bbqing skilz on display--though mine are sadly lacking. Zen and I burnt a lot of our niku. MEAT!! It`s fun to eat! (lame rhyming I know) We had this green ramen that was really good. The last thing they brought out was small dishes of ice cream, and one of my coworkers thought it was a good idea to start feeding me it. He finished feeding me one dish and then shouted for another one...and another...and when he finished I had eaten 6 bowls of ice cream. This was prompted partly by me saying I like to savor my desserts and partly by another coworker saying he eats a half gallon of ice cream in under 2 mins.
On the 20th I helped toki and jojo go to the airport. It was sad to say goodbye to them, but I promised I`d go to fuyucon and jumpfesta with them this year, since I`ve never been in Japan during the new year`s holidays.
I`m still at work, sadly, and yet all we did was watch Spiderman for my only class today. One of my students gave me an Okita cell phone strap for my birthday though, which was awesome. He knows me too well. :D I also had a nice chat with sometimes-I`m-emo student, and he`s always fun to talk to. Another student went to Disney Sea yesterday and told me about it too. I want to pack that class up and keep them with me in California.
