What a couple of days!
So, this week has been a pretty good week--full of blessings. :D First off (and biggest), my brother came home for the weekend! It's the first time the whole family has been together since August 2008, and the first time I've seen him since December 2008. It's so nice to have everyone home. We've been just playing games together--volleyball, frisbee, wiffleball--and just enjoying each other's company. It's good to be together. :)
And then, at work, I found out that they are having an "employee" eye exam day, where you can get an eyeglass or contact lens exam for $40. I've always wanted contacts, but I've always been put off by the $70/$80 fee. So when I saw that they would do the exam for $40, I figured, why not? So hopefully by this time next week I'll have contacts! :)
And then, a relative is getting a new car, and decided that instead of selling his/her old one, they would just give it to either me or my younger brother. Younger brother has decided that he neither needs nor particularly wants a car at this stage in his life, thus it is going to me! I'm way excited--I was thinking that I needed a car, but I have no money and considering the huge student loan debt I'm about to rack up....This is definitely a huge blessing!
