Guilt Feelings

So, I had a final this morning at 7 am.  On a Saturday.  Can we say "evil"?

Then, 'cause it was early and I wasn't thinking all that clearly, I decided I'd go to the bookstore and pick up the last Georgette Heyer novel I need to complete my collection (well, of her romances...I don't have all her mysteries, and I'm missing a couple of the historical novels).  Um, yeah.  Well, Borders didn't have it, but they were having a sale--all their CDs were 50% off!  So I got "The Music Man" soundtrack (Robert Preston and Shirley Jones) and then the soundtrack for "Pushing Daisies."  Then I decided I'd go to the other bookstore and see if they had the book.  They did. *squee*  But they also had a book on clearance about Jackie Kennedy and the Mona Lisa, so I got that too (I was weak...)  And then I remembered that I was looking for the movie "Dave" with Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver.  The store didn't have "Dave," but it did have "The Parent Trap" with Natasha Richardson (and I suppose Lindsay Lohan...), and the 2-disc Special Edition of "The Sound of Music" for only $9.99--how could I resist?  And then while I was walking to the last video store (to check and see if they had "Dave") I passed another bookstore, and they had (on clearance) a box set of E. D. Baker's "Tales of the Frog Princess" and the hardcover anthology of the "Nurse Matilda" tales (that "Nanny McPhee" was based on.  And then, at the last video store, they did indeed have "Dave", and a Susan Egan CD on clearance ("Coffee House" for $3.94).  It was quite a day, and I am now $90 poorer. *shrugs*  Happy Graduation to myself, I guess... :)  And I know y'all don't really care, but I like making lists about they wondrous things I find. :D
