Finished! Finally! I have not only finished Bleak House, but Faust as well. You have no idea how happy that makes me. I have to say that while I did like Bleak House, I liked the movie better. Dickens' digressions tend to get on my nerves, although there are a couple characters not in the movie/miniseries that are in the book that I loved. Faust just messed with my head. Still not sure exactly what happened, although I got the gist of it (it helped that I'd seen the Wishbone version of "Faust" back when I was little...) I need to talk to Amy about it, since it is her book and it was on her recommendation that I read it. Either way, I'm just glad that I finished both books before the summer was out. Next? I can finish tackling Paradise Lost. Hopefully. :)
