So I am back home for the summer. Yeah! I even have a job already--fulltime, and $10 an hour. There is distinct happiness in my world, since Michigan's economy is horrible and jobs are extremely hard to come by--even fast food jobs! But this is a job that will actually look good on my resume, unlike most summer jobs. So I'm pretty happy. That, and I get to be with my family again. My little brother is just 18 months and is so much fun to play with and tickle. He's absolutely adorable, and is just starting to talk--his favorite phrases are "what's dat?" (as he points to something) and "out?" (he loves being outside.) I'm having so much fun with with him. And of course, it's wonderful to be able to hang out with all my other siblings. I love being home. Even if sometimes we drive each other nuts. :)
Unfortunately, we have no internet. :( I think I'm stealing my wireless from someone in the neighborhood... I only get it in a certain spot in the house, so I probably won't be on much this summer. Which is probably a good thing. :) I have a reading list a mile long, so hopefully I'll get through it! Faust, A Room with a View, The Age of Innocence, and then my random Georgette Heyer books (I finished Black Sheep last night and really enjoyed it--next up is False Colours).
And "Early Edition" is finally coming out on DVD! I am so excited! I used to love that tv show. And the hero--played very well by Kyle Chandler--is exceedingly attractive. It's just a fun show, and I don't have to be on the lookout for inappropriate scenes. :) I can't wait until June--I'm very in to instant gratification!
Yea, that's pretty much it. :)
