AAA’s Atae Shinjiro appears at event for photobook
On March 30, 7 member co-ed group AAA’s Atae Shinjiro (24) appeared at a commemorative sales event for his photobook “ATAE BEST” (2200 Yen, Shufu-to-Seikatsusha) at the Fukuya Bookstore - Shinjuku Subnade store.
The 20 themes of the photos for the book were shot in Tokyo and Hawaii in January of this year, after more than 2000 fans signed requests to help him decide on the themes. As there were an overwhelmingly large number of requests for Atae to cross-dress, he did so for the first time ever. He laughed as he talked about being made up as a high-fashion lady. “After wearing high heels, my waist hurt, so I thought that women are amazing,” he said. “I could not turn into a woman completely.”
