Voice actress Ochiai receives death threats
Voice actress Yurika Ochiai (28) revealed in her blog that she has been the repeated target of apparent death threats. She mentioned that police have notified her agency many times of these "murder predictions," which are generally posted anonymously on internet message boards and have become increasingly common in recent years.
According to Ochiai, she has been personally informed of threats about seven times, and police detectives have repeatedly visited her home. Because of the incidents, she has had to delay announcements about events and take breaks from her blog. She noted that she and others who work with her are suffering from the stress caused by the threats.
Ochiai provided voices for animated series such as "ToHeart2" and "Futakoi"
