The Flutter of a Moth's Wings May a Computer Destroy

So some interesting things have certainly happened since I last wrote. I've been working as an intern since June 2nd. That's going well. I'm learning a lot, and I'm getting paid well. Not too interesting to talk about though.

In other news, we have a new kitty. She's about eight weeks old, and she's annoying Crookshanks. If she weren't fast, I'd say he'd eat her. I'll post pictures as soon as I can get a picture of her sitting still.

Also, my computer of five and a half years has snuffed it. Well, actually it had some help, and it actually has some interesting historical perspective. Two weeks ago, I saw a moth flying around my room, and instead of smiting his ass with a newspaper, I figured I'd let him live...heard a buzzing sound a bit later while my computer was in standby.

I tried to turn it on the next day, but nothing happened. I didn't have time to look into it, so I waited a week. When I finally looked into it a few days ago, I found the moth wedged under the motherboard. Foreign contaminant found! Cause of death determined. No replacement possible...for under $100.

Now how would such an insect end up in such a place. Simple, the little bastard followed the light. I bought fans with LEDs in them...only fans available. Little tosser followed the light and the fans sucked 'im in and blasted him beneath the motherboard.

Ah, historical perspective. I did promise that. Well, as you might know, in 1947, IBM engineers were working on a computer when it suddenly sputtered and died. When they opened it up, they found a bug. More specifically, they found a moth. An interesting and unfortunate historical parallel.

In response to this serial killing (there must have been more in the past 60 years), I move that the moth supplant the bear as the greatest threat to America. Perhaps I'll post a NOT WANTED poster. I already have him dead.
In further observations, I passed a plaza in Niskayuna a few weeks ago with two stores, a bridal shop and a guns and ammo shop. I offer no analysis, because that might just kill it...but how?
