Well... With all the waiting for Castle to come on Monday I was prowling through You Tube and fussing with other stuff and fandoms.  I rewatched Doomsday from Doctor Who (and cried all over again I might add)... Still one of the most emotional separation scenes I've ever seen from sci-fi.  Then I located this wonderful little piece that included the entire scene from Journey's End....darned editors.

Now I am not sure if any of you even watch Doctor Who, but I grew up with this show as much as Star Trek. It came on late Saturday night on PBS and whenever I got home from wherever I had been with friends my Dad and I would sit up and watch it every week.  Mom and I got him a Tom Baker scarf one year for Christmas....  Well, lets face it...Tom Baker totally rocked Whoville, but a romantic figure he was not.

Then I started watching it when they restarted the series...and there was David Tennant.  Adorable. Snarky. Smart. Heart in his eyes.  Even better...there was the Doctor and Rose.   So of course I felt all the heartache of their separation and the uncertainty of the Meta Crisis Doctor... But this You Tube clip using music written for Doctor Who just absolutely caught at my heartstrings.

(now why couldn't we get this with Jack and Sam?)

Here is the clip:
