(no subject)
I had a very quiet weekend and I didn't feel like turning the computer on so I'm reading all the news only now.
Andy and Ed came to our house for dinner and some travel plans on friday night. All is going well, I think, I might even convince him not to take his huge heavy boots when we go hiking...
On saturday morning I went to check some furniture shops with Highlander and once again we came home empty handed. Our bedroom and the office are the most completely furnished rooms of the apartment (although not finished) and the sight of the empty living room, with just the sofa and his huge TV, is getting on my nerves. Well, I like space, I like emptiness, but there are too many white walls in there... who are never going to be filled because... I'm very poor... and I'm very picky... and I should never ever have studied design for now I only like things I can't afford!!! GRRRRR!
Well, I could afford some of those things but I much rather spend that money traveling, which is probably stupid but see if I care ohhh! Decisions, decisions...
That evening we went to my mother's and I was completely stunned with my 12 year old sister, who was entirely dressed with her best friends clothes!!! How american-teenage movie is that? She is not yet a teenager and already she is more teenager than I ever was! Yac! I hope this is just a bad fase... At least she is reading a lot. Highlander gave her Luc Besson's "Arthur et les minimoys" for her birthday last week and she already read it and gave it to me so I can read it too, which I'm doing.
On other news, Highlander and I have been completely addicted to "caipirinhas" since we learnt how to make them so we went jogging yesterday in the park, to make something healthy for a change. Now I my legs are killing me... What am I saying? My legs, my harms, my abs... there's not a muscle in my body that isn't sore!
