(no subject)
So I've been bumming around Ottawa for just over a month now, and aside from the one extremely discouraging job rejection and the various Young Canada Works jobs I've applied for but haven't heard back from, the job search overall has gone quite slowly. Part of my problem is that in my mind, I'm still on holidays. The other part of my problem is that for a lot of the jobs that sound interesting, I'm either not qualified enough or I'm not bilingual enough.
Although I do need to sit down and tackle this problem thoroughly, it's so beautiful outside --- only 20 C as opposed to the sweltering hell of +30 (+40 humidex) of the past couple of days -- that I really want to go for a bike ride. I just recently discovered how awesome Ottawa is by bike. They actually have bike paths here!
