are few and far between.
so I met this Palestinian guy two weekends ago and we really hit it off for the two days had seen each other. Other than Ahmad (Ahmed?) Erakat who graduated a year or two.... or three ago and Greg, this bloke in my graduate seminar whose sexuality is still in question cuz i don't know him well and i don't know his friends (but i swear his hands are an unnatural color, and what straight guy would go to a tanning salon or use tanning lotion?), i haven't really been expecting to meet many gay palestinians. Either way, he abruptly stopped returning calls and texts. pretty disappointing. but hey, you take what you get.
I haven't had a prospect for a relationship with someone I felt I had potential to like a decent amount since Alan, and this totally reminded me what it was like. Not really looking for a clear-cut relatinship as i'm gonna be having crazy fun in Israel and the West Bank this summer, however, this guy did make me think again about the idea of being in one. Since Justin (the pali guy i just met) and I acted pretty giddy around each other, it was kinda exciting but made it worse due to his complete 180.
sigh...
