The camera panning to the opening door, the creaking of said door, the careful framing of him in the center of the doorway, sunlight streaming over him (and we're already pretty sure this dude is a vampire!), the close-up of that aristocratic face, with just the slightest hint of a smile and the slight nod as if taking everything in and being quite fine with what was to come. So motherfucking bad-ass. I LOVE ELIJAH!
Daniel Gillies ranks up there with Matt Davis and Kelly Hu, in my opinion, as the best recurring-casting this show has ever done. Please, pretty please, show figure out a way to make him stay long time!
