Continuing on with the 30-Day Vampire Diaries meme ...
Day 10 - Favorite Caroline Scene
"Masquerade" (Season 02, Episode 07) -- "I did it."
I was really stuck trying to come up which Caroline scene I wanted to grab, there was the Pilot scene where she explains to Bonnie that it is a competition (the scene that made me fall for Caroline), the scene in "Miss Mystic Falls" where she tells Elena why she has to not drop out, the scene with her mother in "Plan B" that broke my heart, the opening of "Masquerade" where she tells Stefan about her meeting with Katherine, but I finally settled on this one, even though it's short.
I just loved how Caroline put on such a show for Katherine, and then once she succeeded the joy on her face when she faced Katherine was, well, joyous. Caroline has always felt less-than and not good enough, she's got self-esteem issues up the wazoo and to see her realize how totally awesome she can be was just a fantastic moment for her ... and for this Caroline-fan fantastic watching her have that moment.
