an icon meme from isiscaughey.

1. Reply to this post with the word PIRATES (or NINJAS) and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including this info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never ending cycle of icon glee.

These are the icons that isiscaughey chose ( behind the cut. )

I'm a huge LOTR fan and was a huge Orlando Bloom fan for a long time (I've since moved on, lol). Legolas + Aragorn=WIN. This one doesn't get used very often, but I can't get rid of it.

As I said earlier, Denny + Alan = OTP. I loved their relationship and loved Boston Legal.

Brotherly love. And I'm always looking for hug icons to use. Plus, it's Damon smiling.

As previously discussed, I love their budding bromance. This was my favorite one that you had.

As my name states, I'm pretty sarcastic, and this one made me LOL when I saw it. I also use this quote a lot IRL.

"Chicks cannot hold in smoke. Dat's what it is." The Breakfast Club is one of my all-time favorite movies, and this was one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

Aww, you were supposed to do this in your own journal!

Anyhoo, I still like Orlando Bloom, damnit! HE was the sole reason I saw Pirates of the Caribbean, and his absence is why I have no interest in seeing the 4th film. I was adored Legolas, and, again, I still love Orly!

Besties are awesome when they're well-written!! :)

Hahahah, I know. I just don't know if I'd follow through on the meme for anyone that wants.

And what's the difference between PIRATES and NINJAS?

Oh, I still like Orlando too, but he's not at the top of my To Do list these days. My obsession with him was so bad that my friend and I drove to Louisville when he was filming Elizabethtown there to meet him (and we did. Twice.) But wait, it gets worse. In 2007, we flew to London for a weekend (Yes, a WEEKEND) just to see him in the play he did on the West End. Flew out Thursday, got there Friday morning and flew back Sunday. It's the craziest thing I've ever done, but worth every penny. Got a chance to meet him again after the performance. :D

I watched POTC for both Johnny and Orlando. I adore them both, and will ALWAYS love Johnny. He is the sweetest human being I've ever met and really takes the time to interact with his fans (they filmed Public Enemies about 3 blocks from where I live and got the chance to meet Johnny on several different locations.)

Awesome that you met him (thrice) and that he was sweet. Sorry, not a Johnny fan at all. :( He's a good actor, and good-looking, but he is just not my cup of tea.

Erm, pirates are swashbuckling thieves of the sea, ninjas are well-trained, martial arts fighting machines.

Heh, i just realized that I probably sound like the biggest creepy stalker, with how I went to KY and London for Orlando. I'm really not. My friend and I just wanted to do something crazy before I closed on my house, and I wouldn't be able to do crazy. :)

SMART. ASS. I meant, what is the difference between Pirates and Ninjas in regards to picking icons.

LOL! I seriously wondered why you were asking that question. Hah! I have no idea. The person I got it from used that, so I did as well!

Oh, I went to Burleson, TX (loved Texas by the way) to watch Justin Guarini in concert, and visit the theater where Kelly Clarkson used to work. Talked about her to the manager that she used to work for. I know creepy/stalky! :D

HAHAHA! Awesome! I'm glad you've had your own creepy/stalky moments (even though I don't count that as creepy/stalky. We're just dedicated fans.)

Yes, very dedicated.

Oh, and I think I can actually answer your question. I was rereading some Australian Hub Vampire Diaries stuff, and I think this meme originated with a TVD/Michael Trevino (Tyler) fan because one of the questions asked of him was "Pirates or ninjas?" He answered one or the other, the person who asked picked the other and Michael apparently spent some time giving a serious, thoughtful reason as to why *his* answer was right, LOL! Or maybe that question was asked because it's some online and/or fandom thing from something else. So, yeah, I guess I go back to: I dunno.
