How I wish I could write: In ethereal, dreamy prose that would capture the feeling of the fic I'm going for - think southern gothic, whisky, summer heat and cicadas.
Instead I always end up writing slightly amusing, dialogue heavy stuff that I feel is clunky as heck and not nearly as fun.
*sigh* Also, I've got like, 3 days. Well, four if I count up to midnight on May 1st. I'm at about 2000 words. I'm gonna try to make it, but writing is still rather like pulling teeth. *holds up a pair of pliers*. Nothing for it but to get back to it, right?
