I said I would update if I wasn't playing Alpha Centauri. Well, I haven't started that game because I have been too busy doing fun and social things. And baking buns that I came up with in a dream. Mmmm dream cakes. (chocolate orange cup cakes. omnomnom)

All sounds lovely.

I think that "Go" means "Try", as in "you can have your go now", so once that TRY has caught an A, and gone after the O (duck) you get the answer...

I agree with the TRY+A theory there.

I meant to invite you both over for Rock Band but lurgy has got me instead. Are you free any of Tues/Wed/Fri next week, when I should have stopped being contagious?

Is that Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri? If so, how are you running it?
I'd very much like to play it but can't find a system on which it will work.

Installed from the original disks on Windows 7. No configuration messing about, it just worked. Failing that, as Alpha Centuari is available from gog.com their tech support forum for the game might well be of value to you: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/sid_meier_s_alpha_centauri_/#1318083151

Thanks for the link.
I feared that it might be a matter of using Windows; unfortunately it's a lot less easy to get working on the systems I use.
