I saw
this optical illusion pop up on facebook not too long ago, but I didn't think it was legit.
And now I do. The day I saw it on facebook, I could only see counter-clockwise. When I found it again just a few minutes ago, it was still counter-clockwise. But when I looked away for a sec to read more of the article and then looked back, the rotation had switched. I think it has to do with the misleading shadows of the feet, and the fact that the brain decides which side is the front right away, which is a hard perception to shake unless you look away and back again.
