On work experience
So the summer holidays have arrived! And I was bored - will probably be bored for a couple of days, since I have a routine [sort of]. But Ramadan starts on the 11th of August and I am determined to do better than last year.
Anyway, 5th of July to the 16th of July was work experience for me. I didn't get my own placement, unfortunately, the school got one for me. It was in a Health Centre.
But it was good: I worked, approximately, from 10 am to 3 pm with an hour's break for lunch. The people there were very nice and generous. The work was easy so the atmosphere was relaxed and calm - at least for me and another girl who came from my school to work there. I was a 'Clerical and Admin Officer' which sounds more sophiscated and important than the actual job. :D
But all I did was admin work - filing, shredding, photocopying, creating tables/databases...
Our supervisor said that I was very keen and enthusiastic - but that I had to slow down so that I did the task properly...well, it isn't exactly a surprise that I haven't been contacted by them so that they can see whether I would be willing to work for them or not...
I don't mind, to be honest.
