The other night, it started snowing while I was still at work. We haven't seen much snow here yet - so one of my coworkers triumphantly brought out her snow-themed cd where the title song is "Marshmallow World." The snow was very pretty - although it only covered the surroundings enough to glow dimly in the moonlight and then by yesterday morning, the sun melted most of it early enough so that the ground was merely speckled in white. There was no time for play and it certainly wasn't a whipped cream day, as the song goes. Ah well, I'm certainly not complaining for the lack there of - I did have to go to work, and snow and ice may look lovely, but it's a bit too dangerous for my tastes when it comes to driving.
I relisted a note card of my
Winter fairy this week and so in honor of even the thought of snow, simply mention LJ in the buyer comments when you buy it through Etsy and I'll send you a matching sticker. Check it out simply to see the decorative embellishment I used to tie around the card's fold. I'm addicted to ribbons and yarn and the like and the one I used this time on "Winter" is one of my favorite kinds because it's so sparkly and soft - bernat disco yarn in boogie blue. Anyone else unhealthily fond of similar yarns?
