Let's see now, who would be on it? Peter Gabriel, Tim Buckley, Robbie Williams ... um. Who else? I think that -- Alice Cooper! Jeez, how could I forget, we only share a birthday. Also Natalie Imbruglia, the one song I adore to the end of the world and beyond. And dude, I think that's all the Aquarian musicians I own. Hm. Aw, sad, I kinda thought there were more but really there are more Aquarian writers and actors I love but sokay, the Aquarian musos I do love are --- eek, Michael Hutchence! Right, right. Yeah, so they totally make an awesome strong mix.
Yeah, I'm kinda going through a very stealthy Petey phase. Been happening for a few weeks now. Triggered entirely by one song I put on my novel playlist, Secret World the live version, and that reminded me how very much I fucking love that song and him live and yeah, it culminated on Friday with me finally finally buying Still Growing Up: Live And Unwrapped. Only I'm a bit confused that that's not Growing Up Live but I'll get that too eventually cos I've been stealthily watching clips of it on YouTube.
And yeah, I'm about to pop it in now and watch it for the very first time. Mind you, I've been looking at cuddly mystic sage teddy bear Petey for so many weeks now that I kinda sorta forgot how yummy he used to be back in the Eighties. My Petey is always the sexy goateed English professor Petey of the Nineties Secret World DVD. *leers happily* But gaw, I forgot how adorkable Eighties Petey is, especially when he's performing and he's all "I'm going to dance now and I don't care how lame white boy I look because I wanna have fun and I wanna dance!" and he's got that little boy expression of Aquarian concentration on his sweaty face as he jumps around. And his hair's all cut high around his ears and flops forward on his forehead and he looks like some sort of sweet accountant when barely a decade ago he was shaving his hairline back in a triangle and painting pink under his eyes and wearing dresses onstage, god love his Aquarian stage fright. Hee. How can you not love him, silly wonderful man that he is? *headbutts him wif affection*
So yeah, now I've changed my Bookface profile pic to the Seventies reverse mohawk and am awaiting the slightly bewildered enquiries from certain deplorably conventional deplorably ignorant members of my family. *snort*
