you've every cause to doubt me

Not a bad day. I had extremely awesome hair and was wearing my favourite v-neck pullover with the slim blue trousers so I felt fucking incredible and was back to walking around with my head held high like I own the city. Funny how much of a difference a good hair day makes. Hee ( Read more... )

Haha, I'm the opposite when it comes to journals...I cannot stand the ones that are wide-ruled because it makes my handwriting look like a five-year-old's. Even when I was in grade school I demanded that my mom buy me the "college ruled" binder paper because the lines were smaller and I could fit more sentences on a page. And I'm hopeless when it comes to writing on a totally blank page...my words start to dip down on the right side of the page like some tragic literary avalanche. :(

I'm the same...if it's not ruled (and fairly narrowly), I can't read my own writing!

Tch. Slackers, the both of youse. :p If I can do it, you could do it in half the time. But no, admittedly even I have moments of 'Eeek!' when I open up a journal and see my very blue scrawl blur into itself. I always have to readjust my eyes and focus in hard. The curious thing is lined pages make it worse for me because then the lines interfere with my writing and it's all one colossal unholy mess. Heh.

Of course it's an entirely different thing when your boyfriend at the time tells you he can't read the first letter you've ever written him because your handwriting makes his eyes water. *sniff* No wonder I dumped his arse! :p

Isn't that funny, though? My handwriting used to go up at the end of every line ... and it's only you mentioning it now that has made me realise wow, I actually write in relatively straight lines now. And see, I thought you would like blank journals for the space to draw/doodle if the fancy takes you. Cos that's always my excuse even though I never do. *lol*

Ohh those journals are gorgeous!

I'm sure I rememeber reading about Moleskine-like journals that are a fraction of the cost of Moleskines...I'll try to remember the name.

I knew you'd think so! That was pretty much my second thought, first thought being just drool. And they were like between twenty-two and twenty-seven dollars which I thought was quite reasonable.
