It's kind of wonderful to walk into Borders and see not one but two glossy magazines with McAvoy on the cover. The first was FilmInk with a fairly ordinary pic but the second, whose name completely escapes me, had this long feature with a slightly banal interview but fairly unusual pix. Currently trying to find online versions.
Cos the feature was titled In Dreams With James McAvoy or something and I totally reacted to the one of him in bed like the lusty twenty-something heterosexual female they were clearly aiming for, the bastards. Sort of an "argh jesus what I wouldn't give, oh wait I like his wife."
Ahhhh. Most excellent. Seek, and LJ shall supply. Now, how about some hi-res non-watermarks?
Worked a fairly long day but have tomorrow off which is brilliant. Got to catch up with everybody at work which was great --- sometimes it boggles me how much I can talk --- but I'm ready to get on with the novel now that I've figured out the shape of the scene that's been bothering me for the better part of a week.
Completely sodomised my sleep patterns which is why I'm posting at a manic hour again. But had dinner with the Aunt at the pub which was nice cos I haven't seen her in a while what with work. She's off to Fiji this Thursday for a weekend sales conference while apparently it's going to get even colder here in Orstrahlia. Some people, pfah!
I'm so in love with Easton Ellis all over again. It's incredible how he can write such bleak little stories in which nothing happens at all and leave you feeling strangely satisfied. Honestly, a writer of such marvellous subtlety. The structure of The Informers is completely fascinating but my brain's a bit too fogged at the moment to set out exactly why. Reminder to self.
Ah ha! Non-watermarks for the win. I'm trying so very hard not to get too excited for Wanted but rapidly losing that battle, argh. Mind you, it is a bit odd to see a trailer and actually hear his name mentioned in the voiceover, right after Jolie no less. *blinks*
Me, I'm still pouting for Penelope. Waaaannnnt Ricci/McAvoy quirky fairytale ...
