First day back at work today. Ahhh it was good and mildly weird but mostly good. Everyone was most affectionate at the office, that surprised affection of seeing someone you hadn't realised you'd missed. Or maybe it's just my beaming fatuous face popping around the doorjamb going "Helloooooo!"
Oy.
(
wrapping up the hours. )
Cos I'm EVOL!! Heh. I love that second title! Oy, we grammar geeks. Is there nothing more cringeworthy and delightful than us tossing about? *snort*
Ahhh but babe, it totally comes and goes in waves. I'm still learning to accept that. I don't always have this dedication and drive. (thank you for seeing that, though, it really does help.) And personally, I find that it's only when I'm totally relaxed and content that my mind churns productively ahead. So I totally understand that with the T thing happening for you, your writing desire would have vanished. Seems natural, really. Don't worry, it'll totally come back.
Gah, I still haven't read Fragile Things. I keep forgetting it exists! I know, shocking.
Hee. I knew you'd approve of the genre and location! Totally said to myself "if anyone would, it'll be Ms Coraline!" Thank you for the declaration of faith. And man, you are so right about location! I am realising its importance on whole other levels with this novel. I mean, I'm a Romantic enough to place enough emphasis on physical surroundings but oh yes, getting the detail right on this novel is of paramount importance. Good thing I'm bloody anal, anyway. :p
