get a life, get a love, get a new big idea.

Ah, I forgot how good and interesting this album is. Such a compelling voice, deep and rich and yet soaring ... all for the love of the humdrum and humble ... his metaphors sometimes leave something to be desired but there's always that edge of irony that makes me forgive him ... but the music is so melodic, so complex and always bristling with precision ... through the maze, precisely, through the myriad of schemes. Funny how you never forget songs, that the words the melody the security all curls back in a great silent wave of nostalgia with the sound of the first notes. He's a Virgo, too.

Anton Newcombe. Roland Orzabal. Steve Kilbey. Tori? How many other Virgo musicians have I been drawn to? Oh yes, Michael Jackson. I was young and yet still patterning.

For discipline is the channel in which our acts run strong and deep; where there is no direction, the deeds of men run shallow, and wander, and are wasted.

Don't say thank god for simple truths!
